Why Drupal?

Drupal is an open source content management platform powering millions of websites and applications. It’s built, used, and supported by an active and diverse community of people around the world.

• It's as much a framework as it is a content management system.
• Provides a consistency of language which makes it more efficient and cost-effective to communicate around projects
• A lean and efficient core.

• Less cumbersome than many of its competitors
• No need for specific solutions for social media, or e-commerce, or brochure ware. 

A good analogy?  

• It's a Lego kit in which we can build trucks and helicopters.  
• Other CMS might be more like a truck or a helicopter – and one doesn't easily change into another.
