Katherine Hooker
miggle have built katherinehooker.com and katherinehookernow.com using multi-site functionality in WordPress. We deployed the GetShopped plugin for katherinehookernow.com in order to take full advantage of WordPress's ecommerce solution.
Planning
We worked on this with New York agency Artifact, who supplied the initial designs and sitemaps. They'd also done the evaluation on the CMS to be used.
Resourcing
The objective with this site was to deliver something which could be fully managed on a day to day basis by the Katherine Hooker team. We provided telephone training for the client - but they were already up to speed with WordPress - which had driven the initial requirements.
Building
The build was done using WordPress multi-site functionality, and the e-commerce part of the site is powered by the GetShopped plugin. This build also made extensive use of [shortcodes] and custom post types to allow for better control of content.
Managing
Our maintenance agreement with Katherine Hooker includes hosting, site maintenance (WordPress and plugin upgrades) and on-going feature development.
