Background: 
I have had a varied career and worked as a nurse and a holiday rep before going into PR and copywriting in 2001. Starting out in financial PR, I managed external and internal communications for a company's charitable and corporate social responsibility activities, before going freelance in 2004. I now write for a variety of national magazines and manage communications for a range of clients from the financial, voluntary and travel sectors. I have also recently edited a book.

Your miggle remit: 
I work as an online editor as part of an out of hours news team for one of the world's best known websites.

Webby interests: 
I have previously managed content on 13 intranet sites for a FTSE 100 company. I have also worked as a freelance editor on websites for three charities. Away from work I mainly use the internet for news and shopping. I also use Skype, instant messaging and Facebook to keep in touch with my friends.

Away from the computer screen: 
In my spare time I enjoy travelling, socialising, going to gigs and reading. I speak two languages and I volunteer with two charities. I am also learning to play the acoustic guitar.

How would you save the miggle team from life-threatening peril? 
I may not be too good at actually averting a life threatening situation, but with my nursing background I would be able to take very good care of the team.
